What is nonprofit fund management?
Nonprofit fund management involves the strategic planning, directing, and controlling of an organization's financial activities to ensure it can achieve its mission while maintaining financial health and compliance.
In short, Community Foundation of the Lake (CFL) is a nonprofit dedicated to helping donors establish a lasting legacy through financial gifts and nonprofits more confidently manage their financial position through fund management and financial documentation administration.
CFL is an affiliate chapter of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO), headquartered in Springfield, MO. As such, all funds are managed by the CFO’s investment policy.
For Donors
CFL is here to help donors create lasting legacies through charitable financial gifts for generations to come. Our fund management and grantmaking services allow donors to create endowments or gift funds, or contribute to existing funds. Funds can be created with a variety of assets, including cash, stock, real estate, or closely held stock.
For Nonprofits
CFL is here to help nonprofits create lasting community impact through sustainable financial endowments that withstand financial strains for generations to come. Our fund management and grantmaking services allow nonprofits to create endowments or apply to grants. Endowments can be created with your existing donated assets and can then be leveraged as the primary donation account for generations to come.
